How to get to the Solano Avenue Stroll

Shuttles

Free shuttles run 10AM-7PM from the North Berkeley BART station to Marin Avenue which runs parallel, one block South of Solano Avenue. The shuttle runs up and down Marin and stops at the intersections with stoplights (until San Pablo Avenue). Wait times average from 20 to 40 minutes. Shuttles are wheelchair accessible and are provided courtesy of our event sponsors. Please support them.

Ride your bike and enjoy free valet parking at two locations on Solano Avenue, Wells Fargo Bank on the west [Berkeley] end, and by Sophia's Cafe on west [Albany] Solano Avenue. Thank you to the East Bay Bicycle Coalition and the Albany Strollers & Rollers for continuing to provide this wonderful accommodation.

AC Transit and B.A.R.T.

You can also use AC transit bus numbers #7, #18, #25, #72R, #72 and #72M. To take BART, you can take the shuttle from the North Berkeley BART station, or walk about 15 minutes from the El Cerrito BART station. To get to the corner of Solano and Alameda, you can also take the #25 bus from the El Cerrito BART station or the #7, #18, or #25 buses from the downtown Berkeley BART station. To get to the corner of Solano and San Pablo, take the #72, #72R or #72M from the El Cerrito BART station.
